One of the things that massively slowed down our marketing success in the early days was a lack of understanding of how goals, strategy and tactics fit together.
Let’s take our forex trading business as an example:
Goal = Acquire and keep 500 ACTIVE paying members ($97/mo X 500 = $48,500/mo).
Strategy = Position our website as the best daily coaching service for traders.
Tactics = Sales funnel. Paid and free traffic methods.
Can you break down your current internet marketing business in the same way?
Don’t worry if not. There are bits of our business that aren’t quite that clear cut either. The key thing is to be fully aware of that.

A timely reminder. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been in business for sometimes you get bogged down and can’t see the wood for the trees. So a clear plan of action is a must to keep you on track or at least so you don’t deviate of the chosen path for too long.
I’ve always loved the book, “Cheats Never Win” and if you try only short term methods for quick gain, you’ll be in the same place in ten years time as you are now scrambling around for the crumbs which fall of the successful business table.
I agree Martin. It’s OK to have lots of projects on the go, as long as you keep focussed on the goals that come with each one. That book sounds interesting, I must take a look.

Aside from making affiliate videos I have also started tweaking my strategy to build lists as well.
So definitely once you know the overall strategy of ranking and driving traffic with videos you can modify the way you monetize the traffic at any time.
Absolutely! It’s a killer strategy mate. I’m putting together a little experiment right now to show how I intend to use it. You already know the keyword (non IM niche)!
Then I’ll pull the traffic into my sales funnel and dazzle them with killer content.
